Music Analysis: Till Forever Falls Apart

Disclaimer: These are my views and feelings on a song. I am not a professional songwriter so pardon my use of technical terms. I do not own the song or the lyrics.

Hola mis amores;

I hope everyone of you is doing well! Firstly thank you for choosing to read this post of mine.

I start my blogging journey officially from Today! The first post I'm making is under the Music Analysis section.

I love discovering and listening to new music; be it of any genre. My favorite genre though is rock and pop punk.

Today I'm gonna discuss or rather express my thoughts on the song 'Till Forever Falls Apart' by Ashe and Finneas.

The song falls under the alternative/indie and blues genre. I discovered this song by a total fluke and as you will realise later most songs which I've stumbled upon, have turned out to be my favorites.

The lyrics are penned down by the singers themselves along with Leroy Clampitt.

The song starts with a mellow piano and strumming of the guitar. Ashe sings the starting paragraph and the chorus. Finneas comes in at the second paragraph and both of them sing the chorus together.

Finneas' sinewy voice gels too well with Ashe's luscious and rich tone. Finneas is one of my favorite singers due to the tone and timbre of his singing voice. I haven't listened to Ashe as much but her voice enraptured me and kept me hooked to the song.

The crescendo and harmony which come in at the chorus add more beauty to the whole song.

Let's take a look into the lyrics. To me this song symbolizes the longevity of friendship.

The pre-chorus which goes as follows:

'Cause you've got me and you know // That I've got you and I know

That I've got you and I know

These lines show us how they've got each others back and only death will tear them apart.

Alternatively this song can also stand for unrequited love. But since it's a duet that seems a little improbable, but as a standalone it can symbolize how a person is trying to get over the romantic love they have for someone and instead be platonically in love with them.

As for the cover art, it's beautiful and really aesthetic! The clouds in the backdrop create a cotton candy sky and the yellow from Ashe's clothes and white from Finneas' clothes really stand out. The blur effect makes it seem like they're fused showing off a close friendship amongst them.

Till forever falls apart makes me want to sing and dance at the same time. It gives off the vibes of a ballroom dance. It's been on repeat for a few days now and is soon in line to become my comfort song.

I hope you enjoy the song as much as I do! I'll add a link of the song below!

You made it to the end! Thank you so much <3

Until Next Time;
